Up for Sale is the complete Al Stohlman Home Study Course from 1962. Great for a beginner. In Excellent Condition in a 3 Ring Binder. I thought I could use this, but I am going to do braiding/plaiting instead. I have more experience in that area. I purchased this from King's X not too long ago. Pm if interested.

Looking for Leather Craftsman Magazines? Anyone have any duplicates?
-
Anyone have an extra Stylecraft# 41 Handbag Patterns, from Al Stohlman. That they would be willing to part with?

Looking for a vintage pattern. Its the Honey Bee pouch w/ zipper. Size is 8 3/4" long---3 3/4 " high--2" thick. If anyone has the kit a tracing would do or a photo copy from a book would be fine.

Made a head knife from a circular saw blade yesterday. It needs to be sharpened and polished and of course a handle. Any Advice.

Looking for a #3 beveler, French edge skiver, Adjustable V-Gouge and a Adjustable Groover. I am a beginner so nothing too expensive.

Has anyone tried to make a head knife out of and old saw blade? I got the idea from Ron Edwards book Bushcraft Leatherwork. Has a whole section on homemade leather working tools. Very interesting read. Going to try to make a head knife here pretty soon.

Greetings everyone! I am new here. I am a merchant seaman by trade, I do a lot of fancy knot work and some basic stuff out of leather. I was wonder what basic tools, one needs to get a little deeper into leather work. I have read the posts. I do not want any do stamps, or tooling at this point. I like making plain rustic items. I already have rulers, knives, needles, waxed thread, some punches, over stitch wheel. Any suggestions on additional tools or making my own? I ordered the Al Stohlman books, Hand Sewing Leather and the Cases series Vol 1 &2. Going to make a stitching pony soon. Any input would be helpful. Oh is there anyone in Utah that I could learn from?
