this was the 2nd pattern. long wallet size ,but bigger room.

this purse was the very beginning of the rod series. After this one i was interested in what the brass rod might do in a piece of leather work .

Love it!great work,espcially the lettering and color. I only used "inflow" dye ,never "covering" type.so there is no white in my work:head_hurts_kr:

Hi John~ One of the impressive things about your studio was that you have got a growing "ideas bank" .Surely it helps when there is any problem.So glad you like this one~ For this one I used 2.5mm thickness vegetable tanned leather. -

I have trouble to get the good dye too.All I can find are "sub-assembly" or "no brands",some are ok if lucky. Anyway,I would use some black paste or tan ,after dye the leather, to make the corlor more natural,if not darker. -

Yes ,it is brass rod at the front flap.Recently I found it is useful sometimes.Trying on other design of this type. Thanks for you kind reply.. I am testing this and that ,When free ,I always make something new eagerly ,so I have not tried to file any patterns.They are just pile of cardboards. -
