I worked in supply chain management with Kimberly Clark for the first 22 years of my career. During the past several years I have owned a small telecommunications business called Hosted-Voice-Solutions.com. Also during the past several years I have been making canvas bags as a hobby. During this time I dabbled in leather working mainly making straps and parts for the bags. Recently I've become more serious about learning the leather working trade because I really enjoy it. I spent several days with a well known leather craftsman this past summer learning some of the tricks of the trade.

I'm looking for something to do to keep me busy and perhaps make some additional income. That is why I'm giving leather working a look. Why not do something you enjoy if you can make it work.

I also enjoy cycling, tennis, a little photography and my cat. I have lived in several cities in the US. Spent 17 years in Atlanta. Recently I moved back to my home town of Akron, Ohio (big mistake). Not really, I like six months of winter ….NOT.

I don't post much on this forum but I've spent many, many hours reading through the posts. I can't believe how much I've learned in a very short period of time thanks to the pros here. What a great bunch of experts and members to learn from. I really appreciate it.
