Gerber or leatherman? And why?

The only reason I have a Leatherman is that I found one at a garage sale for $5 (new in the box). Mr Gerber is a big supporter of the 2nd Amendment, and I saw him at the SHOT show a few years ago. If I had to choose I would probably go for the Gerber.
