I learned the leather business from my Father-in-law about 25 years ago. He was self taught, back when he was getting into the business people were not as willing to share the trade as they are today. We (my wife and I ) mostly do saddle repair, and we have done custom work such as holsters, knife scabbards etc. We have been out of the business for about ten years and are looking forward to starting up again.
