I am the owner and primary operator (wife helps at times) of a laser engraving business. I have been in the technology industry for years... nuclear power, field service engineer in the semiconductor industry, and currently my night job is working for company that manufactures computer processors. The one that has the cute little 5 note bong... bong bong bong bong and starts with the letter I and ends with L.

In preparation for possible retirement (one can dream), I started my own business. As a part of that business, I decided to go back to something I learned in Junior High - Leather work. I have been an avid shooter for a large portion of my life. When I purchased a Taurus Millennium 45 and couldn't find a holster I liked, I decided to make my own. I have since made the 2nd amendment holster for my 1911. I have also made several holsters for friends. These are all one off creations and I work with the individual to get the firearm positioned just where it fits them best. I am learning from each and every one. One of these days I may have enough proven patterns to make a go at it as a holster/leather manufacturer. I don't believe it is ever to late to start a new endeavor.
