I have been making stuff since I was big enough to thread chunky wood beads onto a shoelace. I picked up some leather skills at summer camp, and then put them on hold until years later.

I make earrings, fold paper, crochet and do leather. I teach any of the previous skills at the drop of a comment.

I am a bit of a geek. I made most of my webpages in a text editor. Cut and paste is a wonderful help. The earring pages display an experiment in using script language - you mouse over the thumbnail, and the full image shows in the display pane.

I have been somewhat reclusive over the years since my daughter died. She lived with us, and helping her keep track of doctors appointments and medications, and helping her do things that made her happy were the mainstays of my life. I am slowly coming to a new Normal, but I still miss her.
