Hi to all, I'm totally new to leather crafting or tooling and am planning on a project. First of all, the material I'm using will be upholstery leather and it's 3.5 oz. I'm wondering if I'm able to skive down the thickness of it. Additionally, I need to mold it into a shape but am not sure whether this works on an upholstery leather. Hope that you guys can give me some advice and thanks in advance! Alan

However, I have some questions which I hope you can advice me. Are we able to process the same with other leather types? I meant as in molding and skiving. I'm having a upholstery leather which I'm quite interested in using as the main material. Thanks! Alan
