Do you mean that you have only been working with leather for 3 years, or have had your business for 3 years? Either way, really outstanding work, and I think all of your designs have a unique point of view, which I feel is missing in a lot of work. Uniquely classic and modern at the same time. Hello. This is my first time posting here, so I thought I would show some of the things I do. Also, really excited to be taking Carl Chappells boot making class in a few weeks! So my question is concerning the straps that I use on this first bag. The veg tan is so stiff that it looks awkward when the bag is not being worn. I have used generous amounts of neatsfoot oil to try to soften in, but it only helps a little. Any advice out there for softening things like straps? Thanks. Hal HaletBenchmade.com
