  1. Hello all. Number one newbie here. One somewhat messed up Tandy Wallet and one precut holster under my belt. I purchased the Leatherwork Manual from Tandy and was wanting to make the keys holder in there. After I cut the 6 1/2 by 4 piece out I was trying to figure out the hole sizes for the snaps. I am sure there are many sizes of snaps available. Has anyone seen a chart of holes sizes for the snaps? I haven't purchased any of the snaps at this time. I did see some snap sets that were like 3/16 and 5/16. Would this by chance be the hole sizes? Thanks
  2. My first post and I am newbie number one. My first was the Tandy starter kit with the wallet, money clip etc. The first mistake I made was to glue the wallet to a piece of green cardboard. What a mess to try and get it off after the tooling. The beveling turned out like yours did. The first tool I used was the backgrounder that came with the kit. My first mistake. After finally looking at a pdf of the Tech Tips today recommended here on this site I found out that just about everything I did was wrong. Hah I love it. The double loop stiching on the wallet was also a fiasco. But I loved every minute of it. I have gleaned some good info from this site and it is my first visit today. I was showing off my new wallet to my co-workers and the ooohed and awwwwed. A lot they know. I just love the smell of leather and gunpowder. Thanks
