I'm a handbag maker out of Portland OR and I'm looking for a 2-4 week class (not Tandy Leather) in leather sewing techniques. Preferably Handbags, but Shoemaking would be of interest too. Specifically learning about different types of hides, veg-tan dyeing and finishing (not tooling) industrial sewing. forming etc. I will go anywhere that a good class is offered, preferably a warmer climate sometime between the months of March - May. One on one, smallish workshops, schools etc. Thank you!
