I am starting my first project. actually Im destroying some stuff to get some practice before I start my first project. I picked up some tandy leather cement from my local hobby lobby today, I just glued a handkerchief to some suede. As I was doing that it occurred to me that the glue smelled just like Elmers wood glue. should I skip the hobby store next time and just grab the Elmers? on a separate, related topic. I think I want ( i know im sick) to hand stitch my projects, and I was thinking of mounting a nice solid needle in a drill press. I dont need the spinning, but the press and chuck seem perfect for quick controlled holes. am I crazy? (for the drill press, not hand stitching )
