My name is Joshua Merrill. I am in Albuquerque NM USA. I am 27. http://jugglingj.deviantart.com/ http://www.etsy.com/people/jugglingj i just started leather working January of this year. i just bought my first sewing machine this year as well. i bought a starter kit from Tandy and found myself hooked after trying to make my first belt. http://jugglingj.deviantart.com/gallery/28664473?offset=96#/d36y5yi I want to be a leather worker for life. i want to make my living from leather. and i hope that i can travel to comic-cons and Renaissance festivals and sell my goods i want to make full costumes. from traditional armor to fantasy armor and everything in between. im willing to take all critisism if its constructive. any tips and tricks any books i should get, must have tools. i have al stolmans starter projects 1 and 2. (cases and such) and the encyclopedia of rawhide and leather braiding by bruce grant
