  1. the machine that mikesc has posted a picture of is similar to two advertised in the UK earlier this year as "Blake Insole Stitchers" One appeared to be manually operated the other also had a motor and belt drive.
  2. Hi Jim, I have just bought a Frobana Outsole stitcher and wondered if you could send me copy of the operators manual. I am hoping you have it electronically as i am based in Devon, England. Many Thanks Vic  ( vicwillmington@bseltd.eu)

Hello,  I just got a Frobana running today myself. This is an older machine that was imported to NY.  From another thread it was guessed the date of import was the 20's to the 30's.  I have it stitching.  If I may get an English operators manual that'd be great but I don't see any replies to this thread.  I am willing to pay for an electronic copy if possible.  Advanced thanks and best regards, Mike

  3. Hi I have searched the Forum and hope I have looked in the correct places. I wish to sew boxes and cases as done some 100 years ago. They probably used a special build Singer, bearing in mind it was UK based I have seen them for sale in the past on ebay, but cannot find any now(2014) I have seen the attachment for a Cobra 4. I have read the Campbell Randal information. Does anyone know where an old Singer may be found in the UK to do this work? Apart from hand sewing does anyone have any thoughts that would get me closer to being able to do this work. I realise finding the machine is one thing, teaching myself to use it, quite another. Thank you for reading this
