The Best Way To Cut And Trim Stingray?
SloeRyderTack replied to SloeRyderTack's topic in Exotics, Reptiles, Furs and others
I didn't think about a Dremel tool to sand that's a good idea. I've also been cutting out a bit larger than the pattern that way I can trim down to make sure the fit is correct. -

What is the smallest sewing machine that you can go that you think will sew leather successfully? Are the commercial Singers possible? I'm trying to think of money wise... I really need to stay under $500 for a sewing machine and all I need to sew is breastcollars and headstalls nothing more.

Hey I sent you an email about some of your machines.

So what is really involved in painting leather? What paints work the best and last the longest? Is there a good way to do it? Any advice?

I'm looking for someone that can make tack blanks, including headstalls, breastcollars, bronc halters noses, etc. I make custom bling tack and don't have the ability to sew. I'm looking to purchase frequently, and if you can do exotic hides that would be a bonus. Right now I outsource for all my leather products and would prefer to have a permanent arrangement with someone.

I recently have discovered this place and wanted to say Hi. It looks like there is tons of information here, which is great for me the newbie. I make Horse Bling Tack for rodeo folk and barrel racers.
