About Me
I am working at recreating history out here in Eastern Montana. My Grandfather came to Terry, Montana in the early 50's from Germany and became a successful boot and shoe repairman. My father learned this from him and does it very well but only part time. I would like to continue the tradition, however there is another inherited trait here called "stubborness". So, if he won't teach me anymore about it, I will do it the hard way by going out on my own. I just want to reopen my grandpa's shop and fix boots and shoes, not build saddles or custom make boots or anything like that.
I am open to suggestions and I am going to have to buy all the machines myself as dad has 2 full sets of everything but I would have a better chance of seeing God himself at the dinner table than I would be able to get any machinery from him.
