Been wanting to start working leather now for awhile. I have some neat pieces I've collected in the past few years from friends as gifts and I am always giving leather goods TO friends as gifts so I figure I'd start trying myself. Just got a new braided rawhide knife sheath from a guy down in Freer I know and I am really digging it...definitely want to start learning that braid technique ASAP. Also have a belt that was made by a saddlemaker buddy of mine up in Montana that I wear every day...floral, name on the back, latigo backside..it's legit! I also am interested in smaller braides for maybe a new hatband. Look forward to learning from yall.
