Just wanted to say hello.
I've been messing around with leather working for about 6 years years now, mostly cosplay armor commissioned to me by my friends who run a local anime convention here in Tampa called Metrocon. I'm entirely self taught (and it really shows in some places) and I'm here to learn the basics, as silly as that may sound. My day job (mechanic and tuner of import sports cars) really puts a tight schedule for leather working, but i get by. mostly on a lack of sleep and a boss who's mercifully lenient on tardiness lol
Thought I'd throw in some pics of some things I've done thus far.
Thanks for reading, and I've already learned loads from just lurking around. This website has been a great help.
Sorry for the poor picture quality. since these are all entirely commissioned pieces, any decent photographs happen only at the con. I'm usually working on them right until the first dress rehearsal (i.e., the due date)
