Thanks to a random google search this costed me 8 hours of carving. My wife had me hang this on the wall. Any tips on doing scales would be appreciated as majority were done with a modelling tool after cutting them in. I wanted to do a chinese style dragon next and was wondering if a different way to do the scales

The things we do to try and keep the wife happy. Glad to say she loves it. Photos arent the best, but thats not my thing and it was a long night

Thanks Bluesman1951, When shut the pen holder rests against the actual notepad thankfully and not the inside of the back cover. Although now I have done this I would probably put it elsewhere as I cant write on both sides of the page as it makes a large lump under the paper. Never mind, half the fun is in the making.

Thanks for the helpful advice mate. I'm happy with the lacing, just need the practice to end - Very Tricky. With the basket weave i think i will go back to basics Will follow that advice of a guide line to start off the job.

Latest project finished. Photo Album using a 3 ring binder for my brothers house warming gift. Inner lining of Kangaroo hide, laced also with Kangaroo hide. This is my first attempt at something this large and first try at lacing....Definately room for improvement - any tips greatly appreciated, especially any tips on keeping a basket weave pattern straight.
