Hello Folks,

My name is Tom Bennett. I live in Spring Grove, PA. I have been working with leather as a hobby for about 15 years now. I got the bug in high school thanks to my metal shop teacher Mr. Cabena. I owe so much to that man. He didn't really offer an advance leather craft course, but seeing my level of interest, he was more than willing to take the extra time out of his day to pass this creative passion on to a younger generation. Thats one of the main reasons I'm so fond of this forum. All of you folks so willing to help guide and teach others. I have a lot to learn about computers. Haven't had an excuse to use one much until lately. Glad I started..I found this forum.

If anyone would happen to know a retired shop teacher from S.W. Pennsylvania by the name of Cabena, I would love to look him up. I lost contact with him when I left for the Marine Corps after I graduated high school. That was back in '98. I went to the school on leave from the Corps and found out he retired. Its unbelievable how much impact one positive role model can have in someones life.
