Paint Rider

I am a retired M.E. and am now living my dream. I have been making horse gear from leather and rawhide as a hobby for over 40 yrs. I now have a saddle shop set up in my barn where I make, clean and repair saddles. I make custom leather good also. What ever the customer wants! I recently inherited a Singer 211G1666 machine from my wifes Uncle. It has been sitting well covered in his garage for the past 30 yrs. To take breaks my dog and I step out into the barn, choose a horse and go for a ride. Or, I might take a young colt out of his stall and round pen him for a few minutes. Training horses is my close second passion.

Relying on my past profession, I make a lot of my own tools in my machine/woodshop at the other end of the barn. I do ocassionally take orders for tools. I am currently in the process of making a round knife for a leather shop manager. Likes mine over the ones he sells.
