Well, I'm new here... very new... and very new to leather working. I live in Canada, I have a sweet little 2 year-old boy, and live in the middle of nowhere with him, my husband and our dog and cat. I'm interested in just about everything, and leather working is my latest target. I create recipes, paint with different mediums, I do a lot of extensive wood working, I can do some plumbing and a little bit of electrical work, I drywall and do little things like replacing or moving closets, I moved a doorway in our current house, and soon will attack the bathroom...I own a sewing shop where I make custom requests for people - mainly handbags, baby items, shoes and dresses for little girls - although I haven't done it in years I love carving alabaster, I do photography for people when they ask for my services, I have a few flower gardens and a vegetable garden...

I guess I do a little bit of everything. Since I only get one of these lives, I figure why not make the most of it? I'd hate to get to 80 and wish I had learned how to do something that was completely within my grasp.
