I am a advanced woodworker and amateur leather crafter. Being a wood worker  I  have an assortment of very expensive hand tools that need leather protective cases and pouches. Unfortunately most products and hand tools come with cheap thin plastic pouches / cases that rip or none at all. In this modern day and age most pouches or cases included are usually under sized and most won't even close and will often damage the product purchased. Learning leather craft will fix and replace what should have been manufactured properly in the first place. I  have learned to sew leather by hand and enjoy doing so.
