The Long Forgotten

Thanks for the comments guys. First off I'll try and flog this quiver to a good home seeing as I'll never use it myself. As for my next project.... well it seems my big ol' grufty beard hasn't actually suffocated the child in me, so I suppose I'll have a go at whatever makes me say "Ahhhh, cool! .....WANT!" Anything Ye olde / military..... the brass and leather works well so maybe something steampunkish, perhaps a mask with one of those electronic cigarettes jimmied into it so it breaths steam....hmmmmm. All in all I wish I'd found leather working twenty years ago :D

Hi all. Ive been lurking around here for a while now and been really inspired by a lot of the work on show. This is my first post and in fact my first leather project. I have a habit of jumping into things blindly and this is no exception. Cant even remember why I choose a quiver as I've never picked up a bow and arrow, but meh, why not? Its all braided with about 25m of leather cord, not a single stitch in there but its solid as a rock. Sheep skin lined for the first 6 inches to cut down on arrow clatter (broke a beard trimmer shaving the sheep down) What do you think? Be as nice or as critical as you like, as a first timer its all good motivation.
