About Me

Started working at guest ranches 1970, found interest in saddle repair and history of makers. Worked for Bill Barton in Abilene, TX 1981-2 then kept up a part time business repairing and building the occasional saddle. Worked for Colorado Correctional Industries 2002-19 in their production saddle shop. Currently have my own shop repairing saddles and tack and producing some silver horse related jewelry. Have gone back to work for the prison shop which has moved to Sterling, CO, part time as of 5/21.
