Pockets before sewn to the lining. Bag lining and pockets were from a special odd-lot cowside I got from Tandy for $39.99. Bound edge was made from the (glazed) buffalo calf hide (also from Tandy). Turquoise thread is from Maine Thread Co. -

Pocket on left is pleated and holds a cell phone. Pocket on right is longer and sized to hold a folded reusable shopping bag (that's one of my Tandy reusable bags you see there). -

Dropped / recessed about 1 inch. Should have made it 1/4 to 1/2 inch narrower for better fit/look. -

Used close out leather on sale at Tandy. It was a dream to work with. Used a 6.75 sq ft pieces (very small remnant left over) purchased at 2.99 sq ft. -
