  1. Nice. Thanks for the info. I can throw one of those on my Reece 101.
  2. Hey where can I find that Consew Motor? I have been looking, but cannot seem to find a price on it.
  3. I have seen the Efka motors (I actually have an old one that came with a machine). Problem with them is they are usually 220 volt and maybe even 3 phase. And lot's of those black motors are 3450 rpm which is way too fast for me. Could put a reducer, but just not the way to go in my opinion.
  4. Hello, I am curious if anyone knows of any 110 volt American or Japanese Clutch or Servo Motors? It seems like the only good, available motors I can find are your typical run of the mill clutch motors or the highly suggested Enduro or Reliable (seem the same to me) servo motors. I am putting together a collection of old machines (Union Special, Singer), and I have to put something under them to power them up, and I wonder if there are any American or Japanese alternatives for running a clutch or more importantly a servo motor?
  5. Thanks for the reply. I only ask about the belt loops because I have a couple of jeans that appear to have about 40+ stitches on the loop itself. I suppose it could be overdone though. And maybe the manufacturers really think they need those extra stitches to keep the belt loop on!
  6. Despite it's age, would the LK-980 still be a suitable machine for a light production environment? I know it is a little older, but I can pick one up (with table and motor) for about $800. I would just want to make sure I can get replacement parts so that I can keep it maintained. Also, in addition to bartacking pockets would this be suitable for belt loops as well?
