Trying to find a pattern, for lower half chaps for riding motorcycle. Anyone out have a pattern and advice on construction.

New to leather working, my father did it years ago before he passed away. I have gotten the bug as a creative outlet with out destroying my garage.

I am looking for a pattern for a pair of lower leg chaps that stiff enough not to fall down, but have a zipper on the back. Some thing for when it is too hot for full chaps and need something for lower legs while riding the motorcycle.
