Hi` I have a 45k1,

I notice it has a tension tension adjuster with two disc`s that squeeze the thread and below this one it has another tension adjuster but this one does not squeeze the thread as the disc are not a movable part so what is the point of this`and how tight would i turn the knurl nut to squeeze the spring,any advice would be thankfully appreciated.
