  1. Does anyone know where I can find a supply for Pelteko 58 blades for their finishing knife? I've seen web sites in Germany and Italy, but I'd prefer to order from a company in UK or North America. Thanks,Sean
  2. Here's one for all the Brit leatherworkers. I have a few tools in my collection that have had "CCD" stamped into the handles. A friend of mine has a few as well and we're both in Canada. I suspected this might be from "Cordwainers College" or something of the sort. Can anyone shed some light on this? Much obliged,Sean.
  3. Hi Lars. The double pippen punch was used for making a slit with a round hole at each end for locking straps on luggage and gun cases. After bucking the strap, the slit would be pulled over a d-ring( the bars of which would poke out of the strap through the round holes) that you could put a padlock on.I've seen this on leg o' mutton cases.I've got two by Joseph Dixon. They are 1" and 1 1/4" between the holes. I don't think they're made anymore, but you could check with Dixon. Cheers(sorry, SKOL), Sean.
