Thanks everyone. Capretta: I am going to practice on getting the feathers better for the next one. I am doing a cover for the breastplate for a set of SCA armor for him. So with the larger peice I should have more room to make them look better.

So a bit of info on this. My buddy loves gryphons. His family crest has a large gryphon in it. So as a birthday present I did a gryphon crest for him. He is very into the heraldric stuff too which doesn't hurt. LOL It is only my third tooling project so far and my first bigger than 2 inches sq. Hope you guys and gals think it looks ok.
