Made this today, from file with hollow ground edge. Works great.

Keep the metal cool while grinding by using a spray bottle or quenching in tank often.

Made out of silver

Got these at a tool sale. Silver tool attached to plastic(?) handle. Threaded insert on bottom to, perhaps, attach to longer handle? Wonder if they might be burnishing tools. Any ideas? Thanks
