  1. I agree. Fixing new stuff is insane.
  2. I’m terrible at cutting so I have to sand or it looks pretty bad.
  3. I’m sorry to hear about your medical issues. I’m new to the craft and need tools and hides so post it up sir and I’d be happy to help.
  4. Do u have the same skiver?
  5. I’m also very new to leather work also. All these tips are very good. I agree with buying a pattern and learning how to make it. Look for patterns on Etsy that have construction videos. I’’d suggest finishing the piece even if you mess up a stitch line or have a weird cut. There are several techniques that u learn from working a project from start to finish. I’ve messed up so much stuff but also have learned several skills along the way. I’d suggest getting a small card wallet pattern or something easy that u can build skills on.
  6. I want to get a bell skiver and was curious if this Amazon bell skiver would work. I’m mainly working with 2/3 oz chrome tan for wallets and bags. https://a.co/d/elqlLas
  7. That’s a great idea. What LEDs did u use?
  8. Damn man, I’m gonna get into LARP now so I can make sweet armor.
  9. I have a cb341 and struggle with curves also. But started practicing with cardboard and just the needle no thread. Basically I would draw circles and weird shapes on the cardboard an then follow the lines as best as I could. Did that for weeks. I still suck but definitely getting better with practice l.
  10. Wow, your work is beautiful. The leatherman/knife utility pack is gorgeous.
  11. I wonder if a zipper foot might work.
  12. I’m trying to cut up boxes and these 2 fools keep getting in the mix.
  13. Thanks for these exercises. First thing is that I needed to figure out what convex and concave meant but now I’m good.
  14. Thank you for the exercises. I grabbed a box and starting practicing earlier today.
  15. Thanks for the tip. I never thought to use cardboard and to take the thread out. I was just basically paying for my education. thanks tj
