  1. I'm a recent member bad have a Consew 255rb2 machine. The manual says use up to #8 thread. This is a metric size and equates to size 346 thread and would take a 26 needle. I have sewn with 207 (with 22/23 needle) and that works OK if I sew slowly. Smaller threads will go great at a million miles/hour speed. I have a servo motor on the machine I would like to hear from anyone who can shed some light on any of the following: -Is 207 the max size for the machine -What would be the max size it would accept without a lot of mods to the machine -Does anything have to be done to sew faster with 207 -What should be max thickness leather and vinyl with 207
  2. My Consew 255rb walking foot manual says use up to size 8 thread. Anyone know what that' is.
  3. Looking at a Consew 255rb-2 and a Juki lu563 to do leather and vinyl upholstery on my old cars - Any recommendation on which to buy - Both dealer serviced, waranteed, with servo motors, New Table, some accessories at around $800. Appreciate any help - I'm new to the site
