....is For Sale. My only reason for selling this custom handmade wooden box is because I have plenty of space for storing my tools and I just don't use this anymore. Its in PERFECT condition and is meticulously built by hand by a skilled carpenter. Made from Ash and Poplar wood. Lined and padded for protect leather tooling tools. As in the connector that installs to the Wallet itself? I'm not sure what to call it really.....Its just a bent over flat piece of blackened brass that rivets to the wallet.....is that the piece you're asking about?

Snakeskin alone would be weak.....but there's no way I would do that. For one, this snake hide is EXTRA heavy duty, nice and thick. 2, I back all exotic leathers with an additional layer of leather, USUALLY veg tan, but in this case a wonderful pigskin liner was installed to couple with the snakeskin for strength. I assure, these are overengineered and will NEVER tear. You probably cant see how thick the wallet layer is, but its beefy.....takes some breaking in for sure! Thanks to everyone here who have posted, even the cowgirl ......lol, I'm teasing. This has always been a very nuetral, very nice place to interact with others concerning leatherwork. gday!

The best price I've found on that transfar tape outside of buying direct from a 3M vendor is AMAZON.com. I know you should be able to find SMALL pieces of similar tape sheets at fabric stores such as JoAnns or Hancocks or a craftstore like Michaels......you might toy with that first....

The leather itself doesn't have an adhesive backing....I have to apply it. I buy transfer tape from 3M (I'm letting a trade secret go here.....but I'm sure you're all worth it! lol)......its WAAAAYY expensive, but like you said....I don't want to breath the glue fumes either. Not easy finding the right type of adhesive that does the job that glue does.....but this particular transfer tape is incredible strong, very sticky, adheres VERY well. I apply it to the leather first, then I apply the liner (my 7 ounce cotton duck logo liner) to the underside of the leather, then its off to the clicker! Thanks for watching the video, I just wish people would SHARE it more.....very few do. It would make this whole social media thing more fun and worth the time making good videos if people would share them more. Oh well.....it was fun to make anyways.
