  2. Thanks for your information Jimi. We will try. I also wanted to say that we recently picked up an Automatic Singer 68 SV machine CAM which is a box X machine. We use it on 5/8" thick cotton webbing with 138 thread. The guy we bought it from said it was a special varient but when looking up info on it I hit dead ends.. Your info here has been really helpful
  3. Hi jimi thank you very much. You said that the 45ksv100 is a needle feed machine. we have a singer 97-10 we have I think is a needle feed machine and cylinder arm.(they said its like the Ferdinand bull machine) do you think this will work if we made the correct fittings ?
  4. Hello I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. we need to do a leather corner 90 degree stitch on items similar to the pictures I have attached. we do not want to do this by hand but would prefer a machine without breaking the bank. I was told the Campbell would do this but heard the landis 12., Can anyone tell me the best machine for this ? I was told it can be done with a singer 97-10 or a 29k60. im kind of stuck here any help would be very well appreciated. thank you very much best RC
  5. Hello everyone,I am new to the group and we have 3 singer industrial sewing machines we just got in from a client. The first is a singer 7-60 dual needle and uses the 7x1 needles. The other 2 machines are a 97-10s one is on stand that was made in 1942 in elizabeth NJ and the other 97-10 is just stationary on a sewing table. I am looking some original needles 97x3 and 97x4 to buy in 23-29 sizes if anyone has some they would like to sell. i have checked though our local sewing repair and he said that Groz bek only had the 30 which is to big. If anyone on this site has any to sell or refer an alternate needle we can use for these machines that would be great. I would hate to have these old machine just sit in the corner and not be used. Thanks for your help. best Romano
