5 to 6oz from Springfield leather. It was from some extra pieces I had laying around. I will try to post a picture when I get home from work. I was thinking I needed to wet it first ,but I was not sure.

Hello everyone, I need help with finishing my leather products. I made some key fobs that fold and snap around the belt. when I fold to snap it gets wrinkles in the fold. What is the proper finishing steps to prevent this? I did not wet the leather before I folded it over, should I have wet it? I also used neat-lac as the final coat....should I not use neat-lac on this type of product? Thanks for any help. Ron.

I made my first holster the other day. It turned out good for my first attempt. Now I would like to do some two tone dye or darker on the edges. Could anyone please tell me how it is done. I attached a couple of pics on what I would like to try.

Hello, I am going to attempt a CC holster. When I lay out my pattern how much do I allow for the thickness of the leather. Also how does the leather thickness affect the pattern to leather differance? It will be a pancake style. Thanks for any help, Ron

Does anyone know anything about the Graycloud round knives? Are they worth the money? Do they come already sharp? Or should I just go with the Osborne?

Hello everyone, I know this is a basic question, but I am very new to the craft. Do you ever dye both sides of the leather, if so when? Also I keep getting a little dye on the back side of my leather sometimes. Is their a best way to dye and keep this from happening? Thanks for any help.
