Hey Redcent, I have the LS1, It runs well the only thing I dont like is the presser foot. It has very rough grooves and marks your leather, even with the leather presser foot I have to backed the presser tension all the way out.

Hey Joe , love this bag. I so want to create a bags without liners. the liners are such a pain for me, but Im using chrome tan leathers so they tend to need the finishing for stucture. On the 138 thread im assuming your using bonded nylon thread already, but I find #20 needle works best with 138. I like the smaller holes the #20 leaves. I use the Sailrite LS1w/ the Monster wheel.

Hi Joe, thanks for the like. I used this covered wire I found at a home inprovement store, its cabled in with 1/4" piping and twisted before I attached the handle to the bag. The pleats are done with rivets, so dont be afraid.lol I created support shaping under the liner so the rivets couldnt be felt at the bottom. My goal was to create a bag that looks soft but keeps its shape, (it gets alot of looks when it sitting by itself.lol)
