About Me
I am married and have two daughters, ages 21 and 19. so, since my role as "mommy" the caretaker has become "Mom" the advisor and I find I have a lot more free time on my hands, I have started doing crafts again on a regular basis.
I started doing leatherwork in my teens. I used to do a lot of Tandy billfolds and purse kits. I've done a lot of different crafts over the years; anything from flower arranging, to gourds, to macrame, to wheatweaving. but I always seem to return to leatherwork as my favorite past time.
Even though I've been doing it off and on for years, I consider myself a newbie b/c everything I've learned I've learned by trial and errror and reading from forums like this one....and also b/c it's something I do when I have free time.....which I now have more of. I have been working on learning embossing and appliqueing leather. I'd really love to attend an IFOLG show someday and take a workshop class. It's on the "bucket list".
