Yes I do, that being said I use it on the thinner stuff with 138 thread or smaller. It does really well with bridle or vegtan on the thinner weights and will handle as much upholstery leather as ya can fit under the foot. The vegtan and similar I stick to less than a quarter inch generally since Ive got a CB4500 for the thick stuff. The 111 does very well for things like motorcycle seats, wallets, pocket items, field note covers, thinner belts.... things of that nature. The CB4500 gets things like gun belts and holsters, knife sheaths and anything needing 207 and larger thread.

Thanks Yin, yeah this leather almost makes it easy ...... except for the wax buildup on your tools. That is the only thing I have ran into that is a pain to deal with.
-
Thank you, its easy with this leather just buff it out once your done with the belt. Sedgwick does a really nice job finishing there bridle leather but ya pay for it.

Thanks Aussie, first time working with latigo and really like it. Gonna have to get some more soon.

Oh and yes the guy I bought it from was using it as a incense holder apparently, upon removing the top oil cap those little rod looking pieces are the ends of incense that had fallen down inside when they burned out.

Thank you Cece, sorry for late response. The design is from a wall hanging she has, I took a picture of that then kind of used it as the basis for my free hand design.

Thats excellent, love it.

Now those are some killer looking chaps. Excellent work

Burnishes pretty good. One thing though I used alot more saddle soap then I normally would. Once you get it a little wet and load it up with saddle soap it burnishes real nice.

You would be better off gettiing a thick leather stitcher. The 111s are great machines but have there limits. You could do thicker vegtan with them but I am not sure how long they would hold up considering they werent really made to do that. They will stitch upholster, canvas, lighter vegtan all day long though. This type machine has its place for sure just not for doing things like harness's and saddles and what not.
