    Do you think that a few coats of the "super shene" from Tandy would seal it well enough to keep the resin from penetrating?

    Has anyone ever covered leather with clear resin? I made a license plate for a friend and I would like to protect it from the elements, and I'm thinking about encasing it in resin. Any thoughts on potential issues?
