I enjoy civil war reenacting. And yes I am a confederate. I currently ride an 1859 McClellan saddle. While I find the McClellan saddle comfortable for short duration rides I find I prefer the Hope saddle for long duration rides.
Also, I am interested in learning to build saddles such as McClellan, Wade, and hope saddles. Since I am knew to saddle building I will be asking lots of questions.
