My wife wanted some leather of her own... this is pretty no-frills, but it does dovetail nicely with the "form follows function" philosophy that I believe in. I enjoyed this one, and I plan some more intricate purse/ handbag projects in the future.
Very clean, did you dye the background after antiquing? And how long have you been tooling? I have been trying some of those techniques myself, I have a ways to go yet...
I guess I didn't take any... not sure why, but it was lined on both halves with that ribbed foam made for fly boxes.
And a strip of deerskin to cover the hinge.
Now I wish I had pics, I should dig around and see
