Cowboy Analog Servo Motor Modifications?
Severase replied to BDAZ's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Does anyone know where I can see a tutorial about setting up my servo motor? Well assembling it!!! -
I had loosen the tension bobbin before to make it roll as you were explaining and tats when the oroe Arose. N later I thighten the top tension to fix the problem. It it got worse. So I retighten the bottom bobbin tension as I remembered it was. N now it's not the same as before but as close as I could hAve done it without losing it.

I just did that and it's tight and didn't budge!!

Good morning, that's great news to hear. Not that complicated thank God. you know tracked back to the day after the repair man was a no show n I realized I changed the bobbin tension before and had to play with it to try to get it to be right it's close to being there m not quite as perfect but it's better than paying $100 bucks for a mistake I made. At the begining and end of the sewing stitch the top stick still shows up on the bottom one. Like the bottom is loose. So i just have to make a back stitch to secure it but I don't want to have to do that. I would rather have it sew as it should.

Hello all. I'm trying to see how I can fix the tension on my singer 20u. The top stick is fine but the bottom you can see the top part vividly. Anything I can do to make it work as I'm trying to finish orders. It's killing me.

Severase replied to Severase's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I will have to find out if he does. He currently is selling it for 1390 with safety clutch I called and asked after your posting. How often should I need a tune up for that machine? Is the upkeep expensive. I'm scared of juki for some reason. Also it comes with a servo motor which I read is best from your forum here. It come broken up and I have to assemble it, I may have to hire a person to. It come broken up and I have to assemble it, I may have to hire a person to. -
Should I Buy A Juki 1541 Or A Consew 206
Severase replied to Severase's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
Thank you so much for the response. Now the only thing is I'm buying it from online and im afraid of getting a juki with all the upkeep n expensive repair if need be. -
I make leather handbags and needs a smooth walking foot that will not cost me much when it's time for a tune up but will do a great performance and could handle up to 4-5oz of leather but will NYC stratch my leather as I sew. Any suggestions. At first I was thinking of the juki du1181 or the t 111-155 but decided against them after reading the forum.

Hello all, I wanted to get a machine for my sewing of handbags and was deciding between the two above and after reading here I realized that the juki will scratch the leather and the t111-155 has an oil reservoir that collects a lot of debris. Can someone please help, I sew 3-5oz leather, veg tan, lamb, cow and kidskin and cannot afford to have any markings on my leather while finishing my top stitches. My budget is $1100. Any advice please.
