Turned the big 50 this year . I have been on and off with leather craft since my 20s. Budget was rough so I would inform have long periods with no extra cash especially after the kids came into the picture. But I've got a great job now the kids are grown and moved out of the house got a nice big space for a shop blammo. I'm back in. Like my new space because we we moved in between my 20s and now. Was a little shocked by job taking the leather craft interest during covid wow it used to be hard to get information till I found this forum and now there's good information bad information fake information everywhere. But besides just going back to you know making a little wallets for friends belts and whatnot just simple projects that are fun I've gotten really interested in making shoes and then eventually handmaking boots I watched a video of a Japanese shop for her the handmade boots and I got enamored. I've actually gotten started I've learned a lot I'm going to make it a pair of custom Jordans old school Air Jordan ones and probably will make some more the kids probably some of their friends they're all interested. Far more complex than I thought it would be but I'm still having a great time with it I'm just ecstatic to be back in the game.
