  1. Got it👍 Thank you again
  2. Thank you Dwight, I appreciate the detailed instructions. I’ll give that a try. Did I understand correctly that you did not glue the lining to the Kydex? ( steer clear of the Kydex)
  3. Diesel tech: no, not thumb breaks but springs for springbreak holsters. You used to see them used more big revolvers carried vertically in a shoulder holster. You could unsnap the retention and draw the pistol almost as if it was being carried horizontally because the belly of the holster was open and held the weapon in place under spring pressure. It’s a pretty neat older idea I want to attempt on a few of my own semi automatic pistols.
  4. Thanks Dwight. I wondered if Kydex might be an option. Did you mould it into the L shape like shown in the Andrew’s leather video?
  5. Can anyone recommend sources for the springs in order to make Springbreak shoulder holsters? I’ve looked locally @ Home Depot, Lowes etc but I can’t seem to find anything but very mild steel, brass, or aluminum. I’d appreciate any assistance. thank you in advance Charles
  6. Thank you. I've seen the Roman ones in a museum in Greece, they looked lethal if you were hit anywhere above the waist. I guess the Romans had a pretty good range on them as well. Those in combination with arrows would be devastating.
  7. Thank you very much
  8. Thank you. I’ll look and see what I can find on the forum. I think if I could find a pic with some measurements I could recreate my version of it.
  9. Hello, I’ve never posted before, but I have a question. Does anyone have a pattern or can recommend a pattern for a slingshot Ammo pouch? I’d like to be able to carry it over the shoulder since I don’t always wear a belt. It doesn’t have to be really large, but big enough to carry 20 to 30 10mm lead round balls. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
