Can anyone offer any insight regarding the pros and cons of these two presses? The weaver press is about $1000, I think that the MA series III is a bit more. Worth the extra money? Or is there something else entirely I should be looking at?

Does anyone know the name of the Tannery that Tandy buys their European hides from? Royal Meadow and the new bend and double butt cuts. I assume they all come from the same place, and I want to see what else the tannery that makes them has to offer.

I'm having a similar problem wherein I can't figure out how to punch the stitches. I can't very well punch all of the holes with the whole thing folded up, but when I lay things flat the inside piece is smaller. Is my best bet just to glue everything in the folded position and then punch my stitches afterward? I don't typically glue my projects.

Hello. I'm planning to make myself a small pipe tobacco pouch, and I can't decide what kind of materials to use. I'm worried that if I don't use some kind of lining, the leather will cause the tobacco to taste funny, and also may not be airtight enough to keep the tobacco from drying out quickly. Plastic, on the other hand, isn't too durable. Any ideas, suggestions?
