Well George how about bringing us up to date on your search and maybe purchase of a machine . I would like to know as I am now going thru the same thinking about what machine to buy and who to buy from.

Has anyone had any dealings with Sunny Sewing machine center in Dallas Tx.? They have a Consew 205RB-5 new /servo etc at what seems a good price 1250. Around 600 less than the Techsew I have been looking at. Tks.

I am not expert on leather and just play around with the craft for fun in my spare time but I have found the tandy store in Little Rock to be very friendly and very helpful . Some of the staff may not know it all but seems one of them has been able to answer any question I may have any time I have been shopping there.

Thanks for all the comments and info. Nick-O is about 2 hours from me. I just might , after Hawking season is over, go see for myself their operation. I will be purchasing a machine in the near future. Just not sure what at this time. Again thanks .

Thanks Constabulary . Yes that is the one on crigs list. I don't foresee myself working heavy leather / thick leather so I am looking for something less than saddle , etc. to use. again thanks for the info.

Does anyone have any info on a TACSEW T 662R machine with walking foot. I have never heard of it but then I am new and looking for a sewing machine to start with. Thanks
