Hello Everyone, I am looking for a good tutorial that takes you from the beginning to the end of a leatherworking project such as a wallet. I'd like to find a tutorial that includes recommendations on what type of leather to buy (for lining and the wallet), cutting the leather, dyes to use, stitching, what type of thread, tools, etc. Basically something that includes all the aspects of leatherworking. That's not too much to ask, right;D Any medium is good with me, books, ebooks, video, etc. Thanks in advance, Noah

I saw some bags of scrap at Michaels, but wasn't sure if it was the right type of leather for tooling. Thanks for the advice;)

I received a Tandy Leather beginners kit for Christmas and this is the first project in the kit. Leather was already cut so all I did was tool it. I definitely need more practice with my swivel knife and I couldn't "walk" the beveler because my piece wanted to slide. Also, on some of my cuts, the leather wanted to "raise up" (not sure how to explain it) and I was wondering if there is a way to prevent this? Let me know what you think;)

Hello! I received a leather working kit from my wife for Christmas (something I asked for) and made my first piece last night and had a blast! I want to learn as much as I can and this seems like the right place to do it. I'm going to post a pic of it in the Show Off! thread and would love to hear some feedback.
