6 years ago we moved and after the move, the shop did not get set up. Finally am up and sort of running again. I am a bit rusty on technique but it will come back to me I am sure. You will not be sorry for machine. I am still learning and am still terrified of messing with it for fear of downtime readjusting it lol but i dont think it is brain science or rocket surgery. The time my cowboy saves me is unbelievable. Enjoy your new partner. Tou will love it. Rdf47

I bought a machine (cb3200) from bob and he is great to deal with. Even after sale. Jist a 3 hr trip for me so picking up was easy.

Yes lol. I dye leather in basement. I mold kydex in garage. My cowboy sewing machine is in bedroom. I buil about 20 holsters a month plus my custom orders so i am not big at all. Scrap pieces tend to fall and i do my best. Bit any that is missed my daschound pug mix is always finding what i dont. Not much of a bother to me. He thinks he is doing me a favour but he isnot happy when i take it from him. I love dogs so i manage lol. I am sure when i have a dedicated shop thing will be different and there will be some off limit places but for now i will just let him "help" me lol. Bottom line is it is in their nature Rdf1967

hey all. I just purchased a cheap airbrush kit off amazon to start using it to do some finishing and dying on my work. I am no expert on airbrushes and could use some advise on dyes. I have always applied by hand and am very fond of the Eco Flo Pro line. My question is basically this. Will I be able to use these same dyes with the airbrush. ( air brush is a g 44 from TCP Global) Will I have to dilute dye Can I use Acrylic Resolene thrugh this brush Any help would be happily accepted thank you rdf1967

Man...I was the same way with my opinion to on handstitching. Orders got behind and I found myself turning people away because they would have a 2 month lead in time . I decided to invest. I did alot of reserch and was just about to pull the trigger on a Boss. It was then I had a cycling accident that tore up my right shoulder and also speeded up an already bad spine problem. It was truly impossible to hand stitch at that point and even pull down an arm crank. I decided to go ahead and go electric. I spent 1600 and got a Cowboy 3200 from Bob at Toledo Industrial. I was a bit worried about my repeat customers on holsters and what they would think. To my suprise every one of them so far are pleased with their product as much and even more now. I was so happy and able to get out an even faster and good looking product with that machine. I know the joy insaying hand stitched and the pleasure of saying 100% hand stiched but that joy does not compare to the smile I get from my customers when they get their product faster and I don't have to raise my low prices to slow down my orders. I am just saying that sometimes we have to go electric but we can still hand stitch when a customer desires it. I cannot even begin to tell you how pleased I am with myCowboy and how much my hands thank me for it JMO rdf1967

I just purchased a cowboy 3200 a few weeks back and love it. I was in same boat as you. Belts took me forever. And yes these machines are pricey. However after picking up my machine and using it....it was very much worth it, and man let me tell you it is a "hoss". You cant go wrong with any of these machines others have mentioned. You will wonder why you waited. Save every penny you have and then enjoy the machins when you saved enough. And it will make you money back on it in no time. I git mine from Bob at Toledo Industrial. Bob was great to deal with. I saved on shipping by picking it up myself. About a 3 hr drive for me. rdf1967

Just started using my cowboy 3200 and love it so far...my problem is this...I am having hard time backstitching with it. I just cant seem to hit same holes...any tricks or hints on timing and ways to do this....If it is just practice that is great but I am sure there are some things I am doing wrong lol Anyway any helpful comments or videos links would be greatly apprecciated Thanks in advance rdf1967

Time to close thread i guess lol. I canceled the orderbecause i decided on a cowboy 3200. Just a drive for me(3hours). Picked it up friday in toledo and it is now in my bedroom neside my wifes viking. Cowboy seemed more suotef to my needs and price was fantastic...thank you toledo industrial. So far i love this machine.

Hello all. Just joined forum. I have beenbuilding holsters for about 3 years all by hand and it was impossible to keep up. So i decided to take my hobby to the next level. I purchased an Artisan 1508 flatbed. I jope and i pray it is the right machine. I stopped doin belts a while back just because it took to much time. I am now in process because of health issues of leaving factory i have woked at fo the last 23 years. I am new tosewing machines but my wife is kind of familiar with them.
